Duplex 2205 (F51 / F60) Flanges
Teshi Group manufactures Duplex 2205 (F51 / F60) flanges (ASTM A182 F51 / F60, UNS S31803 / S32205, 1.4462) as an OEM in India — forged, machined, marked and certified in-house to ASME B16.5, ASME B16.47, EN 1092-1 and customer drawings.
Duplex 2205 has a balanced austenite–ferrite structure that gives roughly twice the yield strength of 316L, with much better resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking and pitting.

FAQ
Duplex 2205 (F51 / F60) flanges: common questions
What specification covers Duplex 2205 (F51 / F60) flanges?
Duplex 2205 (F51 / F60) flanges are forged to ASTM A182 F51 / ASTM A182 F60 and dimensioned to ASME B16.5, ASME B16.47 or EN 1092-1.
What is the chemical composition of 2205 (S31803)?
2205 (S31803) (UNS S31803): C 0.030, Mn 2.00, Si 1.00, Cr 21.0–23.0, Ni 4.5–6.5, Mo 2.5–3.5, N 0.08–0.20 (weight %; single values are maximums).
What are the minimum mechanical properties of 2205 (S31803)?
Tensile strength 620 MPa (90 ksi), yield strength 450 MPa (65 ksi), elongation 25 %.
Is Teshi Group a manufacturer of Duplex 2205 (F51 / F60) flanges in India?
Yes. Teshi Group has manufactured flanges and fittings in India since 1971 and is ISO 9001:2015 certified and IBR approved. Every Duplex 2205 (F51 / F60) piece is hard-stamped with its heat number and supplied with an EN 10204 3.1 certificate; 3.2 with third-party inspection on request.
What is the difference between F51 and F60?
Both are duplex 2205. F51 is UNS S31803 (Cr 21–23 %, Mo 2.5–3.5 %); F60 is UNS S32205 with tighter, higher limits (Cr 22–23 %, Mo 3.0–3.5 %, N 0.14–0.20 %). Most 2205 today is dual-certified to both.
How strong is duplex 2205 compared with 316L?
Minimum yield strength is 450 MPa for duplex 2205 against 170 MPa for 316L forgings, which allows thinner, lighter components for the same pressure.
