ASTM A234 — Wrought carbon steel and alloy steel pipe fittings for moderate and high temperature service
ASTM A234 covers wrought carbon and alloy steel fittings of seamless and welded construction — elbows, tees, reducers, caps and stub ends to ASME B16.9, B16.28 and MSS SP-79 — for pressure piping and pressure-vessel fabrication at moderate and elevated temperatures. Grades are designated WP (wrought pipe fitting): WPB, WPC, WP1, WP5, WP9, WP11, WP12, WP22, WP91 and WP92.
