ASTM A105 — Carbon steel forgings for piping applications
ASTM A105 covers forged carbon steel piping components for ambient- and higher-temperature service in pressure systems: flanges, fittings, valves and similar parts to dimensional standards such as ASME B16.5, B16.11, B16.34 and B16.47. Forgings may be supplied as-forged or heat treated (normalised, normalised and tempered, or quenched and tempered); A105N denotes normalised material.
