API 5L — Line pipe
API 5L (identical to ISO 3183) covers seamless and welded steel line pipe for pipeline transportation systems in the petroleum and natural gas industries, at two product specification levels: PSL1 and PSL2. PSL2 adds mandatory toughness testing, maximum yield and tensile strength, and tighter chemistry and carbon-equivalent limits. Grades run from B to X120.
