ASME B16.9 Butt Weld Elbow Dimensions
Centre-to-end dimensions of ASME B16.9 butt weld elbows in millimetres: long-radius (1.5D) 90° and 45° elbows, short-radius (1D) 90° elbows, 3D elbows and 180° long-radius returns, from NPS ½" to 48".
A long-radius elbow has a bend radius of 1.5 times the nominal size, so its 90° centre-to-end dimension A is 38 mm per inch of NPS for sizes NPS 2" and above. Teshi Group manufactures these elbows as an OEM in ASTM A234 WPB, A403 WP304/WP316 and alloy grades.
